Happy Monday! To kick off the work week, I thought it would be fun to add a new series to R&W || His & Hers will feature style from J and myself. For the first feature, highlights from our weekend trip to purchase our Christmas Tree…

With the holiday season lasting only a few short weeks, J&I took advantage of the long weekend and nice weather to deck the halls and purchase our tree. We made a short drive outside the city and thought we would give cutting our tree down a try. We felt adventurous – so we took a hayride out into the fields and started the hunt for the perfect tree. With each new row, we searched and searched. Despite our adventurous spirits and optimism, we ended up heading back to the farm and purchasing the most beautiful pre-cut tree. We are certain next year will be our year! You see, this tree has a big role to fill this year. It will be our first Christmas in our new home and this tree will set the stage for all the Christmas’ to come. It is currently cozied in a small corner of our dining room. Twinkling and shining bright while beautifully decked with ornaments from special occasions collected and gifted as reminders of moments turned into memories…

Enjoy the first week of December! Hope you are able to take time to soak up the season…

Thanks for stopping by…
