Embracing the beautiful weather this past weekend, we stopped in on our favorite city square before meeting up with friends to celebrate a certain lucky & green holiday. We were certainly in good company: Kate, the sweetest wedding gift from my husband; Tom, my dancing shoes for the reception; Mr. Washington, the beautiful square in the heart of old city & also the site of our engagement, joined for the afternoon. I absolutely love the quant and community vibes of the squares here in Philly – especially as the weather starts to get warmer – they are the perfect locations to do a little people watching, al fresco dining, reading, and pet walking.
The Kate Spade pursue was such a surprise on our wedding day. My husband knew how much I love Kate Spade and the beautiful bow detail and neutral coloring of this purse made this gift one of my all time favorites. The white crochet Toms were perfect for dancing the night away at our reception and site seeing on our honeymoon. The style and comfort of these shoes matched with the charitable nature of this company make them an absolute win in my book.
This outfit is one of my favorites as of late – the sweet crochet peplum top and the perfect green cardigan paired with my favorite boyfriend jeans and crochet Toms. This is a great day/night outfit for celebrating with friends from early afternoon until late in the night. I am looking forward to pairing this sweet peplum top with jean shorts and adding a little edge with leather pants. It’s a truly versatile top perfect for dressing up or dressing down – an added bonus its comfort. The green of the cardigan is one of my favorite greens to wear – not quite a hunter green but almost. I am sure this cardigan will be on repeat this spring/summer – with dresses, skirts, and the perfect white cropped pant.
The sea of green that flooded the streets of philly on Saturday was the perfect reminder that spring is certainly on its way. While we may be wearing our down coats this week, our luck is bound to change soon. After all, aren’t we all a little Irish on this holiday? Now if I could only find that pot of gold & four leaf clover…
